Mchumba Rhodesian Ridgeback

About Us

Welcome to the website of Mchumba.

We are Trudy and Rinus Kant and live in a small village (Nieuw-Vennep) in Noord-Holland. Mchumba is the first name of our first Rhodesian Ridgeback, we call her Luna.

She came into our lives in 2010. Luna is a very beautiful, harmoniously, constructed bitch. She has a very fine character and is sweet like a lady belongs. She has always 'the will to please' and is always in for play. After a while we have decided to go to shows with her and she became very succesful. In 2013 she won second prize during the champions clubmatch of the RRCN (Rhodesian Ridgeback Club Netherlands).

Because of her character and performance we decided to breed with her. For the first breeding we chose Vizara Nenga Nenga, alias Jazz, a very handsome male with a very fine character. Nine pups were born and we decided to keep one of them. We call her Themba.

We are member of the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club Nederland (RRCN) and breed in accordance to the rules and regulations of this club.
